- Add to Calendar as you save. The date, time and provider's address go straight into your own calendar. CareList never reads your calendars.
- A reminder to take notes. When the visit starts, CareList reminds you what you meant to ask about. Turn it off for any appointment.
- Scan the paperwork. Attach visit summaries, forms and results to the appointment, and schedule the follow-up with one tap.

Questions, answered.
Does CareList collect or send any of my data?
No. Your information is stored on your device. If you use iCloud, it syncs through your own iCloud account. Nothing is sent to the developer. The only time anything leaves your device is a provider or medication search you start yourself, which goes to public U.S. government databases. Your family's records are never part of it.
Do I need to create an account?
No. CareList uses the Apple ID already signed in on your device. There is no sign-up and no password to remember.
Is CareList free? Who needs to pay?
You can download CareList for free. Creating a family is a one-time $4.99 purchase, and only the person who purchased it can create a family. Other guardians can download the app and join your family for free, with no purchase needed.
Is it really a one-time price?
Yes. Creating a family is $4.99 once, with no subscription.
How does sharing with another guardian work?
You invite them using iCloud sharing. They download the app for free and accept with their own Apple ID, and both of you see the same information, kept in sync by iCloud.
Does CareList need access to my calendar?
No. Add to Calendar opens Apple's own new-event form, filled in with the visit's details. You choose the calendar and save it yourself, so CareList never sees your calendars. Your appointment notes are left out of the event, since calendars are often shared more widely than your family.
Where are my scanned documents kept?
With the rest of your family's information: on your device, and in your own iCloud account if you use iCloud. Scans are saved as PDFs, and the camera is only used while you are scanning.
Does CareList give medical advice?
No. CareList is an organizer for information you enter yourself. It does not diagnose, treat or recommend anything. Always follow your healthcare providers' instructions.
